A classic, cherished herb used for making pesto and garnishing any and all italian dishes. Grows wonderfully as a companion plant sown with tomatoes. As fruits ripen, we recommend wrapping a single cherry tomato in a large basil leaf for an impromptu garden snack. Warning — it may be habit forming!
