Dagga, Klip
Dagga, Klip
Annual. Leonitus nepetifolia
30 seeds per packet.
Stunning mint-family plant that looks straight out of a Dr. Seuss book. Orange flowers emerge out of green spike balls on long stems late in the season and keep flowering through frost.
One of the last flowering plants in the garden, Dagga is adored by hummingbirds who can access the nectar stashed at the base of its long tubular flowers. Grows tall quick, suitable for a seasonal privacy hedge or living fence. Originally from Africa, where the flowers were traditionally dried and smoked to produce a state of euphoria.
