Fireweed is a native Northwest wildflower that flowers in abundant patches after wildfires in the wilderness. Its beautiful pink flowers and flower structure are magnificent to behold. Fireweed forms thick patches if you let it. It produces abundant minuscule seeds that float in the wind like dandelion seeds. Leaves and flowers are traditionally made into tea. It also supports pollinators!
