Rue
Rue
Perennial. Ruta graveolens
30 seeds per packet.
Also known as Herb-of-grace. Beautiful blue gray foliage on this woody perennial herb. A plant that has been used for a variety of purposes since antiquity, both for food and medicine. Known and described by Pliny the Elder. Use sparingly as a food due to potential toxicity, and be mindful about how you handle the plant because the sap can cause phytophotodermatitis in some individuals. Interesting aroma and strong presence in the medicine garden. Striking yellow flowers give way to unique seedpods
