Garlic Chives
Garlic Chives
Perennial. Allium tuberosum
50 seeds per packet.
These easy-to-grow garlic flavored greens which can be cut back multiple times in a season for repeated harvests of tender young shoots, although this will mean that your plants will likely not flower and produce seed for you.
This may not actually be an issue because garlic chives are easy to propagate via root clumps. Simply break the root crown into pieces and replant each chunk to expand your patch, so no need to save seeds if you don't want to.
But wait! If you want a pollinator show, leave half your greens uncut and let the plant pop its showy white flowers for you in August. The bees go bananas.
