A delicious edible green that is not very well known in the US but grows wild in the Mediterranean. A relative of Mache (Corn Salad) but unlike Mache which is a cool weather crop, this plant thrives in the summertime heat. Large seeds are easy to sow, plant is tolerant of part shade and will intercrop very well, and the flowers are gorgeous and loved by pollinators. Easy to save seed from and continue to grow more and more each year! We love this plant, and always grow it for some diversity in our summertime salads.
