Bred by Carol Deppe, beloved PNW vegetable breeder, this mixed population bean is a great choice for those looking to grow dried beans for their pantry staples.  Creamy, umami, almost "beefy" flavor, hence the name. Grows in the toughest growing conditions, a homesteaders delight.
