Pepper, Early Long Orange

Finally, a bell pepper that actually produces in our climate! I can't tell you how many different varieties of bell pepper we trialed, only to find that 95% of them will only yield a few fruits after a whole season of work. This variety is a standout, bred by Frank Morton of Wild Garden Seed in Philomath, OR - he selected for early production and good flavor, and we are here to report that his selection is on point! 

A yearly staple at our farm, this one barely makes it to the fridge because they get devoured raw directly off the plants. Juicy, crunchy, sweet...everything you want a bell pepper to be - on plants that actually yield well. We couldn't be happier that we found this pepper.
