One of our favorite plants for intercropping with vegetables or planting in pollinator gardens, alyssum provides delicate beauty and nectar over a very extended season, leaving it as one of the last flowers still blooming in the garden when everything else has died. 

Adored by bees, it has a very easy to grow, low habit and tends to mind its own business rather than outcompeting other plants. Try sowing it below your brassicas, as a companion to climbing plants like beans or peas, or interspersed with a pollinator blend of wildflowers. Will self-seed regularly, but it is not weedy.
