This quintessential Peruvian pepper has fantastic fruity flavor paired with medium heat, setting 6'' long green fruits that ripen to orange and turn yellow once cooked. One plant can yield 100 peppers, though in our experience only 30-50 of them might turn orange in the field, while the rest can be harvested and brought inside before frost to allow them to turn color. Plants need staking, as they can reach 4 feet tall by late summer.
