Originally from the Andes mountains in Bolivia and Peru, this cool-weather pepper grows to around 3' and boasts a slightly longer season than the rest of our peppers. It yields copious long, slightly curved red fruits that are medium heat and full of flavor, which are great for drying or stringing into ristras for the kitchen.
